Kiterocket.
Kiterocket is a PR-forward marketing agency with clients in the technology, renewable energy, and consumer goods industries. As their Senior Social Media Manager, I was responsible for everything related to social media marketing. I conducted audits, developed social strategies, created content calendars, oversaw content production, ongoing social media management, and more.
The social media platforms I managed across clients were LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
Social Media Management
I was responsible for the social media strategy and ongoing social media management for the agency’s biggest client, Renesas Electronics. This global company develops semiconductors in various industries, but its social media strategy focuses on more than just the product itself, including company culture, CSR, DE&I, recruiting, executive features, and PR.
In addition to social media management, I presented monthly reports to key stakeholders, including performance data, key takeaways, and actionable content ideas based on our learnings and social media trends.
In 2023, my strategic efforts helped grow their LinkedIn by 68K followers and Engagement Rate by 20%, and I’ve contributed to the Engagement Rate increase on their Instagram (61%), X (40%), and FB by 264%.
Social Media Strategy
A large part of the work I did at Kiterocket was conducting platform audits and developing social media strategies for new and existing clients. When performing an audit, I looked at the content posted across channels and helped clients understand where they could improve. This included identifying the platforms where their audiences are most engaged, posting cadence, visual content, messaging, and community engagement.
The goal was to help them invest their time, energy, and money into creating content for the social media channels that will make the biggest impact with their target audience and help them meet their goals.
These are a few of the client social media strategies I’ve created: imec USA, NION Health, PREA Foundation, and Molly Moons Ice Cream.
Proposal Creation
As we continued to grow and gain exposure to potential new clients, my role included sharing social media recommendations within proposals the agency sent out for new business. This work challenged me to think outside of the box and flex my skills to bring in new business.
This is a concept proposal for ad campaigns I helped design for NION Health.
Kiterocket Marketing
In addition to social media marketing for clients, I was responsible for the social media content creation and growth for the agency itself. I created Kiterocket’s social media strategy based on the overall marketing strategy and created a content calendar that aligns with the objectives and efforts of the agency throughout the year. I was also responsible for all content creation, cross-channel, and reporting back performance to our leadership team.
